Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, Alicia Kuri received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and Imaging and Cultural Anthropology from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. She is currently assisting Pixel Press (www.pixelpress.org) on an exhibition called "Chasing the Dream" for the 2005 United Nations Millennium Summit. She lives and works in New York City.
